Our next general meeting is fast approaching!  This meeting should be very exciting!  We will have a welding presentation and demonstration by our very own Dr. Price.  She will give an in-depth look at submerged arc welding and demo the process in our welding lab.  We will provide food and drinks to sweeten the deal.

We will also be having officer elections during this meeting.  We currently only have two returning officers and are looking to fill several positions.  If you think you have what it takes to be a student leader, come run for a position. Please don't hesitate to contact a current officer if you have any questions.

It's that time of year again; Big Event 2012 is here!  We believe it is important to give back to the community that does so much for us, and this is one great way to do just that.  Last years big event was a huge success and we are sure that this year will be even better.  We would love for you to join us on our group!

SME, AWS, and ASME tech are holding a joint meeting on Feburary 29th.  Oil States Industries from Houston, TX will be there to talk about their company and what they look for in students.  They are searching to fill some positions.  Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
